SSD Hard Drive prices falling steadily

The Tech report of hardware website has published a study report on Hard drives(SSD) prices which reveals and shows a sharp decline in average selling prices from all the major sellers and the Vendors, but Intel is still an exception.

The Declines ranged from 38 percent to 79 percents for some specific models from other vendors. 46 percent was the encouraging combined average.
The costs per gigabyte now range from US $0.82 to $2.31 with some best values found in 240,256,128 and 120 GB hard drives.
Even the prices are falling very rapidly, it is very unlikely that the SSD's will be same as the price level of the Hardrives unless the hard drive technology hits some physical barriers.
These barrirers are pushed out continuosly for as long as modern technology hard drive has existed. The most recent and important capability is driven by perpendicular magnetic recording technology and it seems that heat-assisted magnetic recording will push the limits more further in 2013 and 2014.
for example, Seagate believes that the heat assisted recording  will increaseand improve  the maximum storage density of the perpendicular magnetic recording at least by 50x.

SSD or Hard Drive?
